The Freestyle Series is our ongoing creative outlet, showcasing beers that are generally only brewed once.

An American Sour Ale, fermented and aged in bourbon barrels with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus.

8.5% abv

Our signature ale is brewed with American hops and fermented with our distinctive saison yeast.  Like all of our beers, FPA is brewed with our own well water. 6% abv

A session biere de garde brewed for our local farmers. 4% abv.

A farmhouse festbier featuring a malt body that is both dry and creamy with hints of smoke. 6% abv

A Christmas-style saison. higher abv

 

A rice ale fermented with brettanomyes and saison yeast. 5% abv

Farmhouse IPA with tropical hop notes enhanced by Brettanomyces. 7.5% abv

Our approach to crafting seasonal beers reflects the sensibility that each season in Maine is unique and always different from the year before.

This sour ale is a blend of barrel aged Oxtoberfest (which spent at least a year in a Riesling barrel) and fresh Oxtoberfest. 6% abv

Blonde Saison

A contemporary American grisette, an esoteric farmhouse ale style that was traditionally brewed in southern Belgium for thirsty coal miners. Heavily hopped with notes of citrus and fresh cut grass. Saison yeast  and light malts keep this ale light and crushable. 4.5% abv     

Our grisette, a rustic blonde ale brewed with spelt grown at a draft horse farm in Pittston, Maine. 4% abv

This springtime farmhouse ale is soft and satisfying with round biscuity flavor and zesty floral aroma.  5.5% abv
