We will be closed at all three Oxbow locations on Sunday, October 17th for our annual staff party! Thanks!

Oxbow is committed to supporting our amazing communities here in Maine. Since 2011, our company has worked with hundreds of organizations on awareness events, fundraising efforts and community outreach. We are continuing to push ourselves and find creative ways to give back to our collective communities.

Core Giving Areas

Farming & Food Access

Farming is at the heart of everything we do. As a Farmhouse Brewery, we work to source products for our beer that support farmers. We work with organizations that are connecting communities to food access programs, agriculture training and educational programs teaching people how to garden, farm and connect with the food they are eating.

Community Partners: Maine Farmland Trust, Cultivating Community, Full Plates Full Potential & Farm to Table Kids

Arts & Music

Since Oxbow's inception, we have been working to support local artists through live music performances, film screenings, and literary & fine arts programs. Our Portland location is the home to Gallery 49, with rotating artist exhibitions throughout the year.

Conservation Education & Outdoor Recreation

We strive to have a positive impact on our communities and on our environment. We aim to support organizations that are working to conserve land, protect clean water and access as well as provide education around these issues. Plus, we are an active crew that loves to be outside enjoying Maine!

Community Partners: Midcoast Conservancy, Trout Unlimited, Alewife Festival, No Man's Land Film Festival, Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust

Local Communities

Oxbow has three unique locations across the state of Maine. We aim to support all sorts of important organizations that are providing needed services in our Newcastle/Damariscotta, East End Portland & Oxford Hills communities.
