Oxbow Blending & Bottling is located in Portland’s vibrant East End neighborhood, and as the name implies, is where we blend and package all of our aged beers. Oxbow Blending & Bottling is also home to our large urban bar and event space that has become a cultural hub and community gathering space hosting activities ranging from live music and DJ dance parties to educational events such as beer, wine and cheese tastings, fly-tying classes, and yoga sessions. The space is also home to Gallery 49 which hosts our rotating art murals, curated by Oxbow Art Director, Will Sears.
Portland has become an international destination for food and drink, and Oxbow Blending & Bottling is located in the epicenter of it all. We have partnered with award-winning local restaurant Duckfat for our in-house food program as well as our shared outdoor space. We are also surrounded by spectacular eateries and there are dozens of other fermenters, distillers, and roasters within walking distance.
A foot tour of the neighborhood is not complete without enjoying views of the city skyline from Fort Sumner Park (5 min) and the views of Casco Bay and the Atlantic Ocean from the Eastern Promenade (10 min). There are plenty of hotels and private lodging options nearby, so please consider staying and enjoying this charming city for a few days before or after visiting us in Newcastle (1hr)!
