Cultivating Community Honey Pop-Up

Come celebrate Cultivating Community’s first season with honeybees at Oxbow Blending & Bottling this Sunday, December 9th from 12-5pm! At Hurricane Valley Farm in Falmouth, we have started collaborating with New American farmers to start their own bee businesses. Bees are an amazing way for the farmers to diversify their farms, while also offering benefits to the land. We currently have six colorful hives, but hope to grow the program and invite more farmers to participate! Currently, there are five farmers that are learning how to keep bees (while also teaching us how they kept bees in their home countries, like Rwanda and Afghanistan!) Please stop by to hear more about the program, meet the farmers, and give a donation in exchange for some local honey!
