Protect Our Winters: Find It For Climate Winter Scavenger Hunt
The Oxbow Beer Garden and POW (Protect Our Winters) present Find It For Climate – a fun winter event for the whole family, featuring a scavenger hunt on the Nordic ski trails at Oxbow’s Beer Garden in Oxford, Maine.
Protect Our Winters is a nonprofit founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones, to engage the outdoors community in advocating for systemic solutions to climate change and to protect the places we love to play. Find out more at ProtectOurWinters.org.
Tickets: Entry fees are $10. All proceeds from the scavenger hunt will be donated to POW.
Event runs from 11 – 3, with the scavenger hunt ending at 1:30pm and prizes drawn at 2:30pm.
The first 100 entries will receive a “POW Pack” of goodies from our sponsors such as Yeti, Ragged Mountain and Grandy Oats, as well as entering you in a raffle for more prizes. Your task is to find and snap photos of as many “POW Points” as you can across Oxbow’s trail network. You’ll get an extra raffle ticket for each POW Point you find, and bonus tickets for sharing on social media and completing POW’S latest digital Call to Action. There will also be ice carving demos, music and a vendor village with samples and demos all day, as well as Oxbow’s fine beer and pizza, of course!
