The Bass Bash – Presented by Simms

Join us for the 2nd Annual ASGA Bass Bash, an evening of Art and Advocacy in Portland, ME supporting Striped Bass! Rising Tide Brewery in downtown Portland will be our gracious hosts for an amazing evening with the local angling community. This event will kick off the 6th Annual All Species tournament weekend, and this year is free to the public!

At a Glance

The Bass Bash is a whole lot more than your average captains meeting.

We’re kicking off the weekend the only way we know how—with good people, great food, cold beer, and a little soul. Damn B is back for year two, setting the vibe with live tunes while the crew at Ugly Duckling serves up a menu built around fresh, local ingredients. Oxbow and Rising Tide will be pouring all evening, including the return of everyone’s favorite, Striper Season.

Throughout the evening, some of our favorite artists—including Steven Brooks, Ben Whitehead, Joe from 603 Glass, and more—will be creating live pieces right in front of you. Hang out, ask questions, watch the process unfold, and take home an original piece of fishy art if something speaks to you. The whole night is presented by Simms, who will be on-site with other local legends: Diamondback Fly Rods, All Points, and more. We’ll also have both a live and silent auction packed with artwork, trips, and experiences.

Come reconnect with old friends, meet some new ones, support striped bass conservation, and settle into a night of music, art, food, and stories before an unforgettable weekend on the water.
