Our rural farmhouse brewery is nestled in the woods of Newcastle, Maine, an enchanting part of our state where rolling farmlands meet tidal waters that lead to the dramatic rocky coastline. In addition to our brewing operations, we also have our rustic tasting room onsite where guests can enjoy a rotating selection of Oxbow drafts and bottles.

We are excited to have our friends Banyan Tree coming back for another season. It celebrates two distinct yet harmonious flavors. Oxbow’s Farmhouse Ales, known for their rustic and artisanal qualities, perfectly complement Banyan Tree’s vibrant and aromatic dishes. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or a food lover, the combination of Banyan Tree’s Indian cuisine and Oxbow’s Farmhouse Ales promises to be a feast for the senses.  Banyan Tree will be serving on Fridays, 5:30-8 for our Farmhouse Friday and Saturday from 12-6.

From June to October, Oxbow Brewing in Newcastle will have Farmhouse Fridays, with live music, a food truck and $5 fresh beers, it is one stop shop for a relaxing evening.  Weather permitting, the back bar will be open and fire pits blazing.  If it rains, music will be held indoors.

Visitors are welcome to walk around our small orchard and farm, where we grow fruit for our beers.

Those with a thirst for adventure and recreation are encouraged to explore the trails in our backwoods that are well-suited for hiking, biking, trail running, snowshoeing, animal tracking, or just peacefully wandering and enjoying the beauty and tranquility of nature.
