Honeymoon
|Honeymoon|
Honeymoon is a folk-country band out of Portland, ME. Toying with the balance of joy and heaviness, sweetness and loss, lyricists Hannah and Sav write in a way that walks alongside you. Their first EP, Wild Bird, will be released in August 2023.
Hannah and Sav started playing together in 2020 and found their instant meshing of sounds to be sweetly serendipitous. Their sound took on a new and exciting form with the addition of John Bailey on mandolin in 2023.

Inspired by artists like Esther Rose, Courtney Marie Andrews, and Waxahatchee, Honeymoon’s sound is influenced by the new iterations of folk and country, and deeply rooted in the traditional country at its core. Earnest and melancholic with a hint of silliness, Honeymoon is here to cry with you and laugh with you too.
